Is there a good necro/? build that is viable for offensive pvp?

I understand that necros are excellent as support characters in pvp; however, is there a viable skillset for a necro/? that is good for offense as well? I've been playing around with my pvp only necro but dealing damage with a necro primary isn't very...damaging, and I found that death magic is as useful in pvp.

if your going to build a necro for straight up damage your trying to build away from the necros strenghts in utility spells. Their are however some good spells that do decent damage that you can throw in a necro build like putrid explosion or tainted flesh w/ rotting flesh. i would however say that bringing rend enchantments and chilblans are very important for enabling your group to be effective offensivly and cannot be overlooked.

When I make a N/W, I have two different builds I like to use. First off, a melee weapon for the warrior class, usually a sword or axe so I can bring a focus item. Second, I either max blood and use Life Siphon, Life Transfer, and something like Vampiric Touch or Unholy Feast, or I max curses and take Chillblains, Signet of Agony(blood), Plague Touch and Plague Sending. They both work fairly well in my experiencem, but thats mostly in Team and Competition Arenas.

yeah, this is a good setup for arenas its not efficent damage/healing wise when your in a 8v8 tombs/gvg. this is because your team can afford more specialized healers and damage dealers with 8 players.
