Gladiator Armor?

So I got me the 85+10 Wyvern armor from Ventari's Refuge this BWE.

Looking over all the armors, I noticed Gladiator's Armor having 80 AL +5 energy +20 AL vs. Phys.

Was this a bug, or is Gladiator's Armor really = Plate Armor +5 energy?

it got a nice boost it seems

Gladiator armor is markedly superior to the other Warrior choices, especially if you can get absorbtion runes.

It depends on the piece. All the pieces except the helm and torso armor have +20 AL vs. Physical, but the helm and torso pieces do not. And it's +8 energy when you add it all up.

it is WAY to over powered in my opinion. i think it should be majorly tuned down

from the past betas....full plates and knights armor are supposed to be the best.

Do you have a screen shot of this armor?

You can say what you want without having to resort to call something "gay".

I dont find the Gladiator armor "gay" at all, and as a matter of fact if it is still this powerfull come realse that will be my arm of choice.

Gladiator armor is awesome and you're a looney for implying otherwise.

End thread here.

Edit:: Sorry if i offended gay people in any way by my post ^.^ i don't think of it that way. i wasnt stereotyping any certain people.

i am attuned to my opinion yes?, besides the fact that gay is a simple word to understand. a guy in a half skirt and something showing his stomach, is in my mind considered "gay" it's fine tho, because it was used a long time ago when such things werent considered "gay". you make it seem like i totaly thrashed the armor with some "bad" words or something.

besides, my wa/mo used the gladiator's armor, so im not very "against" it...
his name was semi-roman sounding. (with maximus as a part), all because of the "gladiator" movie.

No Idea

It's to attract people to gladiator arena :P and personally I got no problems with it, since Druids set is in the same position anyways. No one's stupid enough to take one type of AL over energy. The only "balanced" class for armour sets is the silly elementalists.

That's how it looks like. When you put in some runes it's a very competitive armour and this time i barely ran out of energy.
Well .. the male version looks weird but for my char it's all ok

that was my choice too, Gladiator's armor is far better than all the other armors now, while armors are supposed to fit people's needs, hence none being better than the other. At the moment, Knight's Armor and Ascalon Armor are markedly inferior, while Gladiator's Armor is markedly superior. Give Plate 90+20 physical, give dragon 95+10 elemental, give knight's 95+10 physical, give Ascalon 90+20 elemental, and then 80+20 phys +8 energy will be balanced.

*cough* This argument really doesn't make too much sense.. "Gay" might be a simple term to understand -- but in that context, it's often used in a derogatory manner as a type of insult. In a more radical and extreme example, calling someone a racist term is just as simple to understand, but is no less demeaning. In other words, there are much better ways of expressing your opinion, and I would ask you to please do so in the future.

As for the use of the word "gay" being fine becase it was used a long time ago when things weren't considered "gay" ... you don't mean to imply that your original post was suggesting that gladiator armor looks "happy," do you? Break in logic.
