I just kind of finished the Borlis Pass Mission, what I mean by that is this: I did the Bonus and the Mission, the final part being ending the Siege, I killed everything besieging the City and the gates did not open!!

Notice the closed gates and the lack of red dots on the compus. Has anyone else had this happen? BTW I have done this mission before I have 2 lvl 20's.

Actually, you can get all the ballistae and still have the gates not open. There are several groups of enemies you need to kill. The screenshot doesn't prove you didn't miss any, since they aren't all in radar range of the gate.

Possibly you had a guy get bugged or stuck somewhere, I've seen it happen before, not this mission, but sometimes pathing errors make fun!

It's a bug with the doors, not a pathing thing, hope you reported it. I had the same bug once when going back for the bonus only. I surfed these forums for 20 minutes looking for similar problems (never thought of that did you ) and discovered that it is indeed a bug. I reported the bug, mapped back, restarted the mission.
Be thankful this doesn't happen on the Sanctum Cay bonus.

Ive seen the lightning drakes kill the ghost in sanctum cay before i get into radar range using charge and sprint together for more speed.
The one time i have completed it sucessfully, there was no text, the ghost didnt always follow and it bugged the main mission causing all of the white mantle to spawn on top of the lich guy summoning the boat killing him instantly.

Actually, I was just referring to the fact that it's a rather long mission... but I was thinking of Riverside Province not Sanctum Cay (my mistake). If you do the Riverside bonus you're looking at well over an hour, possibly two. Then if you got to the end and discovered a bug that wouldn't allow you to complete it??? That would be crap.

Heh, my brother was lighting the three beacons at the very end of that mission yesterday and he had a crash. When he got back to the district, everyone had a crash apparently.

1st time the the Vizir was killed within3 seconds, mission scrubed.
2nd time I took greater care and avoided to access the boat, so the wizard wouldn't appear.
Imagine a ranger killing off 26+ White Mantle with henchmen only and no rez signet.
3rd time I did that mission, nothing at all happened, but that's maybe, because we didn't attempt to do the bonus.

I had the same thing happen in Borlis Pass. The only thing I could guess at was that someone dropped after we killed the drake and before we got the final quest from the dwarf. I had a party that was helping me through the mission. I had failed a few times before. I feel your pain.

I have had the doors slammed on me there too. My problem though was that we took alesia as a healer becasue we could't find any human healers there. We killer everything by the door, but it would't open. We backtraked a whole bunch, came back and then finnaly found the problem. Alesia was stuck inside of one of the catapults with just her head sticking out. So the only thing i can think of for your door noy opening is that one of the henchmen had gotten stuck somewhere.

i think there may be a problem with this mission, it happened to me and a friend last night as well. we did the bonus, destroyed EVERYTHING living in the mission before those gates, and they still didnt open. all henchies alive and accounted for... we backtracked and there was NOTHING left alive behind us, the gates simply didnt open.

OK Mission complete no glitch/bug this time...unless you count the gates opening before I killed the last two Ice Golem's.........hehe (I have seen that happen before )

There's another bug in the Hall of Honor.
A few nights ago, after defeating all unworthy rangers, monks etc. the doors to the next level should've opened. They didn't. Not because "no party joined". They just didn't open.
5 minutes later we all returned to the HoH by map, reassembled and the bug was gone.
