It crashes for everyone i think, at least for me.

Everything stops for a couple of seconds, but the game "continues", ju just dont see it, and after a few seconds it starts again and then you use to be dead.

Once again I'm a free agent. Quality guilds ahoy?

To answer some of your questions:
Reinstalling xp and guildwars wouldn't hurt, but I'm not sure if that would ultimately solve your problem.
Also, if you reinstalled xp and guildwars, you would still have access to your account. All the info(cd key, characters, preferences) are in the database linked to your email, so no worries about this.
What I would do is run some spyware and adware removers and lighten the memory load. Remove some games you don't play and maybe that will help.

I got a suggestion I heard that if you run your graphics card on lowest settings for some it causes crashes show you should probably check that out also.

Before you reghost your machine or re-install GW, be sure you have the current version of the drivers for your graphics card installed. The msg traffic indicates that this fixes a lot of the crash problems.

Or go back to an older version. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro, and the Cataylst 5.x drivers just lock up my computer playing Guild Wars (and some other games). The 4.12 (or 4.11) drivers work like a champ (though it still locks up every once in a while).

My game crashes every time I play. It'll happen sooner or later. Then my computer restarts on its own and it's fine...

I would make sure you

1) Have the latest windows updates for XP (Except XP SP2)
2) Have the latest video card drivers.
3) Run a Spyware check to remove any spyware/malware (You can download Microsoft's Antispyware beat at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...n&Hash=GWNH9RF)

Hope that helps.

i agree with checking your video drivers. also try putting in the game CD, and "rebuilding" the installation. or whatever it is called. the option is there... maybe just for such cases? i've had to rebuild mine a few times, also. the more the game crashes the more unstable it tends to be, rebuilding seems to fix it for a while.
