Smitting Runs

hey, i have seen that alot af ppl are going
on smitting runs in the uw or fow (cant remember)

is it a type of farming?
and what mobs do they kill,
the drakes in uw? the bulls or the see-through beatles?

the run is made in UW...and yes the see-trough beetles are the smiters....its farming

k thanx alot do you get eternel weapons from them and storm bows?

They drop good stuff.

Don't see what so great about Storm bows... they are just fancy looking Longbows... with rubbish rate of fire.

They look nice, but my Half Moon is much better in my eyes.

well i think that eternal bows look cooler
i just want a storm bow and sell it, to get
lots af cash :P cauz im broke...

by the way, which mobs drop rubies and sapphires?
and what are they use for?

From experience i've had 2 saphires drop from smites. Dont know about rubies though, never had one drop for me...

Currently they aren't used for anything. Many players are collecting them since they maybe used for something someday.

Needless to say its they can be sold to players for 5K a piece, so they are nice for cash.

they randomly drop. i saw one drop yesterday in the FoW by shadows.

ya...drops in the UW are getting increasingly poor.

I've gotten 12 remains in my last 2 runs....not worth the 1000 gold.

I actually got a ruby from one of the two devourers outside of acsalon city right after I came post,that was on my first day in the game about 3 months ago

nice, didnt know that you could get them that early (thought that they came with a patch)
