Did they remove Raptorhawk in (Snake Dance)
Hookecho
I ask because I spent 4 hours in Snake Dance and even using that great web page with all the bosses and maps to locations on it.....I found the other 2 monk bosses and 2 mesmer bosses and a necro boss (all were those shadow things except one monk that was a chick....human that is)....I killed every griffen on the map (and just about everything else also) and looked into each nook and cranny of the entire map from Camp Rankor up to the warp gate.
Each location that was indicated for Raptorhawks whereabouts.....there were griffens and one of those heavily armed Quail guys (A caster of some sort) but no boss.
So....did they remove him or relocate him to some other map? I really want that spell "Spellbreaker".
Any help outthere?

He, like most bosses in the game, won't always be up. You just had a bad run.
Hookecho
damn...must have been 4 bad runs in a row then...crap

I think you'd be better off coming out of camp rankor and heading immediatly left to where he CAN spawn, and if he's not there - go back to camp then try again. Alot faster than crawling all the way up snake dance to the other spawn point - Raptorhawk can only spawn in 2 locations afaik.

I captured it last night. Had to do the same thing as Nightsorrow suggested. I re-zoned about 6 times and ran to the left. He finally popped up and I wiped him out again
Now, finding Myd Springclaw (or whatever) in Mineral Springs is a PITA. It isn't trivial to run through that area as a monk w/o a large group.

I've seen it many times in snake dance. It's still there.
Hookecho
according to that web page that has all the boss skills with maps...he can spawn to the left of Rankor and 3 places up near the top 1/3 of the map....all 3 places are chest locations (ok one is a collector location)
Anyway...thanks guys....I'll keep heading out of Rankor and see if he spawns. I will admit it was fun to wipe a map clean for once.

What I did was kept going to the nearest marked location and zoning if I didn't find it. I didn't want to have to traverse the whole map just to end up getting disappointed...
There was one time I went and realized I didn't bring my cap sig and what do you know, I found one lol.

Saw him there today, he's still there.
Dirty Necro
Just killed him, so he is still alive.

If you're searching the location closest to camp raknor it's going to take a long time or a lot of luck to get him to spawn

The guy -used- to be there all the time. I just hit that area 8 times with rezoning, and saw -NO- boss whatsoever. Just a couple of Aviricas and Arcanists. :P

The close spawn doesn't spawn him often, you want to hit up the north spawns to find him.
Nightsorrow
Time taken to get up to the north spawns vs time taken to repeatedly check the close spawn ... I'd go for the repeatedly check. Spending an hour or so getting up north to find him not spawning - I wouldn't be too happy with GW.

I see him in the close spawn all the time. Just takes a few re-zones to get him to come out. Shouldn't take all that long though.
