Trap this!
MSecorsky
Hmmm... a thought, may try tonight... can you equip the same skill multiple times in your skill bar? For example, could I have barbed trap in slots 3 and 4?
Kuku Monk
No you cant, it'll only move it to the location you try to "add" it to.
MSecorsky
Well poop.
Probably a good thing though... reign in the devious minds like myself.

Welll, that is what spells like Arcane Echo is for [mesmer] :P With that you can "echo" any spell on your bar [effectively duplicating it]. There's also the Elite Echo, not sure which one is more applicable for traps :P

Arcane Echo: If you cast a "spell" in the next 20 seconds, Arcane Echo is replaced with that spell for 20 seconds. Arcane Echo ends prematurely if you use a non-spell skill. |

Arcane Echo is for spells only, Echo{E} is for any skill

You can also use Arcane Mimicry if an ally has an Elite you want.

Now you can use AT again to either shut off (and steal!) a second skill from that same target, or shift focus to somone else and shut down (AND STEAL!!) one of their skills. Great fun!
You can wind up with some really cool combinations of skills this way too.
