hello i know these have probably all been answered before but here goes anyway

1) i here about people with amazing weapons and adding mods to them, how is this done and were in the game do you find these weapons or are they creations of players

2) what is the differece between the colors on weapons/armour

3) what exactly is "farming"

4) what is mobbing

1) you can find certain upgrades or mods on weapons, if you succesfully salvage them you can use them on another weapon.
2) the rarity, white/blue/purple/gold (thats the rarity scale thingy...) gold has usually better dmg and conditions then blue.
3)killing the same monster over and over in hope for a good drop.
4)*not sure alert* KIlling lotsa monsters by luring them to you all at once*not sure alert*

Weapons
No color - easy to find
Blue - fairly easy to find
Purple - difficult to find
Yellow - Very difficult to find

Farming is basically killing monsters to get the drops, particularly for crafting materials such as iron ingots, wood, shells, cloth, etc. You get crafting materials from using salvage kits on items you find. People also farm to find rare items. There are many good posts on farming if you do a search.

Mobbing (being mobbed) is when some poor (or dumb, depending) bugger aggros a far larger group than intended, the result being a monster frat party on his soon-to-be corpse.

1. I should say that if you're going to be salvaging any blue, purple, or gold items, you should be using an Expert Salvage kit. Otherwise, you'll just get crafting materials, instead of an upgrade or a rune.
