I remember there is a collecter that offers an ascalon bow, with +15% when health above 50% that acted like a shortbow. What I can't remember, is where. Any Idea?

there is one in skyward reach that collects hydra claws and changes for a shortbow version of the ascalon bow. it's towards the eastern end of the map behind the big rock thingy, at one of the teleporters.

I found it in mineral springs, put a 5:1 vampiric string on that sucker. Much more cost effective than buying a gold max shortbow with the same mods.

Hm... I'm interested in getting a shortbow with max mods for my ranger but definetly am not willing to pay like 250k for one. Does this ascalon bow really act as a short bow with the 2.0 refire rate??
