Help about the pvp part of the game

Do you know when you pick in a sword in the normal game,does that unlock it in the pvp part?

So like if i just pick up a random sword and drop it straight away will i have it unlocked in pvp?

Note i have not played the pvp only part of the game.

You get a good selection of max damage weapons in PvP. You can unlock the upgrade components like pommel of defense, or vampiric hilt.

You have to identify, an un-identified item, to unlock it for your pvp characters.
