Items soulbounded?

I've been playing World of Warcraft alot lately, where green/blue/purple/etc items were soulbounded (Where the item can only be used by you, and you could not trade it with anyone else no matter what). I was wondering if Guild Wars was anything like this? Are all your armor pieces tradable? weapons, shields?

Also, if you can trade/let others use your equipment. When you "customize" (I might be totally off/confused) a piece of equipment or whatever.. Can anyone else use it, but without the customization stat?

I didn't really know where to check for this information, and I might have a couple of more questions to ask when I remember what I was thinking just a minute ago.

Thanks!

Only the person who customized it can use it, period.

when you customize a weapon, you get a +20% dmg bonus and only the character you costumized it with can equip it. anything you craft is already customized to your character, including armor. customized items are tradeable, at least they were when i last checked, but have your character's name on them and cannot be equipped by anyone else.

What about the items you haven't customized yet? Like if you had a full set of somewhat low tier gear to have a friend equip (without any customization), will s/he be able to use it?

*atm, I'm skimming through threads on crafting, I'll see if I get all my answers before I start to post questions*

As long as it isn't customized, it can be passed down. But I think weapons(swords, bows, wands, staffs, sheilds, etc) are the only thing that can be found. Because crafting armor automatically customizes for yourself

Ah thanks, bobert (and everyone else, who were helpful).

I didn't realize that until now, all of the threads that I've been reading didn't write anything about armor that you have already crafted are already 'customized' (Even though having some common sense would fix that, I wasn't thinking much, heh).

God, I'll be having a blast playing this game when it finally releases.. on Friday or Saturday for me.. Man, do I love working.

I dont like the way armour customizes itself to you when you craft it. Meaning you cant make some for another person, say your wife! Bit annoying, but getting around it is easy, just a pain that you need to get around it.

What do you mean by getting around it? After some thought, I thought the only way to have armor for other chars is to have all the necessary salvaged crafting items and the gold to give to another person to craft their own armor?

Yeah, that is what I meant. Just alittle annoying to have to do this is all.

This logically makes sense to me. I mean, If you're paying someone to craft for you, Wouldn't you expect the amor to be specifically tailored to fit your body and optimize battling? Maybe you can have a size option when creating armor. For instance, if you made your char small at creation, He could only wear small armor. (Just a quick idea)

The only real hinderance to having to craft armour, is that you can never pick up armour from a monster drop, or find really rare powerfull stuff... But on the bright side, you never have to wait for a monster drop, and nobody else will be wearing really rare powerfull stuff.
