PC on gold bow. Also, to sell or salvage?

Vampiric Short Bow of Marksmanship:

Piercing Damage 14-27 (Req. 10 Marksmanship)
Damage +18% while hexed
Health Stealing 5
Health Regeneration -1
Marksmanship +1 (20% chance while using skills)

Also, as well as the price check, could I possibly get some feedback on whether I should try to sell the bow as is or salvage it and hope for the string? I tried selling it earlier in LA and I only got one offer of 11k, which is way lower than I expected. As such, I was wondering if I might get a worthwhile offer if I could get that string... or should I just try selling it again later? All replies are appreciated.

even though its not max dmg i wouldnt sell b/c u could get +plus 1 markmanship and not the vamp string and you will get way more then 11k

Well, to tell the truth, I really wasn't planning on selling it for 11k, since I'm relatively certain that it's worth much more. In fact, that's precisely why I posted this, I'd like to get a good idea of what it's worth as a bow and then weigh the options to see if it's worth it to take the gamble and go for the salvage or not.

I would say 40k.
