What's a good way to get Steel ignots and iron ignots!!!

salvaging items for both.

steel can also be crafted.

Remember to use expect salvage kit to get steel ignots... and you have a high chance to get steel when items are highly salvagable.

The above posters are correct, or you can buy them off other players. Common price is 200-300 gold, usually 250. I sell em for 200 all the time, and I keep my stocks high. PM me if you want to buy, we can arrange a meet in game.

salvage all the following, all the time, always with expert salvage kit:

axes, hammers, shields, canes, swords

These usually for me salvage out iron and steel. Steel is of course far more rare than iron (120 steel vs. 750 iron) but it seldom comes out as anything but iron or steel.

OK, I can't take it any more: It's INGOTS, not IGNOTS. An INGOT is a slab of unprocessed metal, ie a gold bar is an ingot, the word IGNOT simply does not exist.

Sorry for being a spelling fascist, but it just annoys me that NO-ONE ever gets it right.
