[HLR] - Half-Life Republic

We were originally formed by a group of friends from a Half-Life fan-site, but have grown and diversified enough that many of our members have never even played the game. We usually refer to ourselves as The Republic and of course everything we do is for the Glory of the Republic.

We considered changing the name since we have nothing to do with Half-Life now, but we like our tag and it gets a lot of interesting comments when we go into HA or GvG.

We are the Legion Of Tyrian Furries [Furs] (I'm an officer posting on behalf of the guild, not the guild's leader). We got our name simply because we are a guild whose members share the interest of furries/anthropomorphism (the idea of animals taking on human properties, such as walking on two legs and speaking, and also having 'fursonas'). Add that to the fact that we were founded during the time that cantha had never been explorable and you have the tyrian part ^.^

Hiya, all, our guild is the all conquering Freedom Fanatical Scots [FFS]

We're a PvE guild primarily, (only did GvG once, we won almost flawlessly, never again bothered,) who specialise in, amongst other things, novelty builds such as the inspired smiter, leetsauce builds such as our leaders blood LT build and also clinical insanity across the board. Yes, you have to be insane to join us, but it doesnt help

Besides, I cant be bothered to actually recruit people

We're actually a smallish guild with 20 or so members, two thirds of which are regulars. Our hierachy consists of our leader, then 2 proper officers, (Me and another friend of the leader,) and our leader's second account. Right now, we're busy ploughing through factions together, progressing despite often having 4+ assassins in the party

So yeah, anyway, we're mad, really really mad... ^v^

Named after our daughter who has the nickname Biscuit and she is all sorts of hell and brimstone, therefor the DEWM. It was a mock up guild for when my family and a few friends left our previous guild - it was something to hold us together for a bit.... It stuck and has grown quite nicely. And for those asking what MEEP means - its a word you can use just like any everyday word wherever you wish so long as it doesn't meep up the grammar laws!
