you can follow by selecting ally and pressing space

yea selecting the ally's name and then pressing space bar will do it for ya.

its not exactly an auto-follow, as you only follow until u get close, if u "touch" him, u stop following (just focus again and press space)

I do the double click forward arrow and then steer by right clicking and adjust my view. Very good for those long walkabouts.
