Understanding Ranger

Some of the wording in the Skill listing on this site is hard for me as a new player to interpret. What does 'creatures within its range' mean? Does it affect my creature? Does it affect enemy creatures? Both? If it only affects my creature, why is it plural; can I have more than one charmed creature? Are Necromancer minions considered creatures? Are any players or enemies ever a creature? Can Greater Conflagration when combined with Storm Chaser heal my energy when fighting foes, creatures, either? Then there is Practiced Stance {E}. What does 'ready' mean? Is that faster casting or smaller recharge time? Does a stance end if I move? Can I only have one Stance active at a time? Thanks the help.

Nature Rituals affect almost everything within their range, if not everything.
Stances are cast instantly, even when casting a spell. You can only have one stance up at a time. If you cast a second one, it will override the first one. Moving or attacking does not cancel a stance. The only things that end a stance would be certain abilities like the Warrior's Wild Blow, overriding it with a second stance, or waiting for the effect to end.

If a 'creature' is basically anything that moves, then Greater Conflagration {E} does work with Storm Chaser to recover my energy?
