I have a monk and i have tried to ascend and have failed everytime my monk is mo/n and i have no ideas of what i should to, to beat myself. Please help.

swap to ele, load 2 long recharge skill, 1+2 slot. Use blind as your 3rd skill. When the match starts blind him, and keep him blind. Proceed to pound away with any weapon now, but whenever you take dmg cast blind.

He can't swap to Ele, he hasn't ascended yet. Use Scourge Sacrifice, along with as many sacrifice skills as you can stick on your bar (make sure that he can use them on himself). Also take Divine Boon, since you can use it on yourself like a heal, which is something he can't do.

nonono, there's an easier way. take out ALL your skills except for divine boon. and just use that to heal. since your a monk, you get divine favor, so you get healed for each monk spell or enchantment cast on you, so just keep casting divine boon for a quick 50hp heal. since the computers are too stupid to know that, they just cast it once and dont get any heal. you win by default basically.

You can't change secondary professions until you've already ascended and taken the Hero's Journey Quesy from Vanyi in Droknar's Forge. Have you tried equipping some Smite skills? Put retribution on yourself, and just basically sit there doing nothing besides healing yourself. The AI should kill himself a decent amount with the smite skills dmg being reflected back to him and when he's low on HP you can just finish him off.

I wouldn't ever recommend one of these builds, soley because it's so boring killing him with a wand.

It might be boring, but will they work? Yes.
What I do (the both times I ascended my monk... yes I made two primary monks...) switch to all smiting spells. I don't even bring in any healing spells. Retribution + Symbol of Wrath + Banish + Bane Signet and he should die.

Definatly agree with the poster above. I ascended a monk/E and the way that i beat my mirror was to max my smiting then equip symbol of wrath, bane signet, Zealots fire and bathazaors aura. I cast zealots before i faced my mirror. then when the battle started i ran right up to him and proceed to do bane signet inturrupting his similar cast. then i went symbol of wrath and keep spamming bathazars aura. Because of zealots fire this basically killed my mirror in about 30 sec.

If you have necro as primary or secondary class, it's easy. 12 curses, take only enfeebling blood and insidious parasite; the doppleganger will kill itself after a few minutes.

I read somewhere just use healing breeze and retribution on you mirror although I still have to acsend and do my mirror.What is the order agian after asention to Dragons Liar?thanks

The strats above do work, so thanks for posting them. I brought no healing spells on my monk/necro, just enchantments and smiting spells. My 8 quickslots were filled with: Divine Boon, Retribution, Symbol of Wrath, Banish, Bane Signet, Balthazars, Blessed Aura, Contemplation of Purity. I cast Divine Boon and Retribution before entering the arena with my Doppleganger, then started hitting with my wand and Banish, Bane Signet. When my health was getting a little low, I cast Contemplation, then put the 2 Enchantments back on. Worked like a charm! You also could use Balthazars and Blessed Aura, but i really didnt need them. Didnt try the necro method....

thats pretty much all i did with my mo/me, which is now a mo/w.
dont understand your question on order.
if you mean the missions, then you need to complete dunes of despair, thirsty river and elona's reach.

symbol of wrath
balthasas aura
zealots fire
mend ailment (heals urself, duno if divine boon works better)
Bane signet
banish
some other crap (no healing for him)
Tactic :
before fight cast fire
Enter
run towards him
cast symbol and balthasar
start spamming mend ailment(boon) maybe banish and bane signet and he will die within secs

I took a screen shot after beating my mirror. Here is my set-up.
I cast Retribution and Healing breeze before stepping on the last stone. I ran right up to my mirror and cast SoW and Balth Aura. He died in about 15-20 seconds and I had about 3/4 health left.

Necro secondary for the win. Load up on life sacrificing skills, but don't use them yourself. If you need, go out and buy Awaken the Blood from Fisherman's Haven.

actually, the order of the ascension missions doesnt matter as long as they are all done.

easiest thing is just equip healing breeze and a smiting wand(nothing else!), for some reason the doppelganger wont use healing breeze so just wand him to death while healing yourself you should get it on the 3rd time.

What would happen if you did you ascention out of order?I am at thirsty river but I haven't made it to Dunes of Despair tred but the wurms keep blocking me as well as everything else.What if skipped Dunes?Thanks.
Edit. What is the best way to dunes I tried for 3 hours one afternoon to get there from the Rock and couldn't after 3 hours I gave up.
Edit 2 I see it is 510 now must of still been waking up.

There isn't a correct order. You can do them in whatever order you want.

easiest way i've found is going through skyward reach. of course, much easier if someone will run you there.
