Capture Signets and Skill Points Suggestion

Alright, basically the suggestion, and forgive me if there's been another thread on this I did a search and came up with nothing, so basically...

I don't think you should have to keep buying capture signets over, and over, and over, and over. I know the signet is then supposed to be "replaced" with the skill, but lets put it this way, on my necro I've unlocked all the normal skills I could find for all classes except monk, all I've left that I care about are elites. But I've been out of skill points for a while now, and it's such a hassle just to have to do several hours of work to get a level unless you head to the UW/Fissure and do the first few quests over and over again, and hardly anyone wants a necro down there so that's a no go...so I'm stuck doing PvP, and...that's really about it.

I mean, did you have to buy any of your other signets mutliple times? No. Did you have to buy any of your other skills multiple times? No. But capture signets keep getting "replaced" and you have to use skill points over and over for every elite you might want and it takes a ridiculous amount of time, it's quicker I'd say to get 3,000 faction! I'd rather work up 3,000 faction than keep trying to get XP for my skill points...but I don't care about the skill for my PvP characters I want to get it for my PvE characters.

So I think, capture signets should be like any other skill you unlock, you only have to unlock it once. Or at least make them only cost money, hell I'd rather fork out 1k every time I wanted one instead of having to spend hours just trying to get my next skill point, 20k xp isn't easy to come by really, and you definately don't want to go through all that extra pointless work just to get one skill that you want to test out a new build.

I saw either make it so capture signets don't cost skill points, or that you only have to buy ONE. I think just having to pay money each time would make sense, I mean you use skill points to learn new skills right? Well you're not LEARNING anything when you buy the signet, you're just getting something you've already "unlocked" on that character. I'm tired of having to spend hours upon hours trying to lvl for ONE capture signet, I mean it takes an hour or two in itself to capture a few of the harder skills depending.

Honestly, I'm tired of wasting 20k xp on a signet of capture.

So you buy one capture signet (spending gold and one skill point) and use it over and over? The skills you capture after the first are essentially free? Maybe I don't understand...

But in essence, that means you don't need to waste skill points to get any regular or elite skill if a SoC was permanent. As soon as you hit 20 you won't ever need exp again seeing as you can just run around and capture all regular and elite skills from bosses without any penalty to gold and skill point reserve.

If you manage your skill points well during the game, you'll come out with enough skill points to capture all elites for your first two classes. But you have to be frugal about it... don't use caps on non-elites, and don't buy any skill that you could get from a quest. I did this with my W/R and I ended the storyline with enough skill points to buy enough caps for all elites. So it is possible. Now if you change professions... all bets are off, but that's another story. :P

That's why I tossed the money thing out there, lets put it this way, I would rather pay 10k for another capture signet then waste time and effort for xp only to come out with one afterwords. Having changed my secondary profession, well now 6 times I guess including the last one, and having unlocked...all but the monk normal skills, needless to say by this point I'm out of skill points...

I don't mind having to pay for it, but to have to get 20k xp for a single one, then spend the time going to get it? When it's quicker and easier just to get 3,000 faction? Yeah...that blows.

It would be nice to see it like rez signet as I used my skill points to buy skills from trainers.I wouldn't have done it if they started this presearing.I am going to have to try the Northern Wall mission to see if I get an extra skill point My Monk only as 3 of them.If I do I will keep doing it over and over agian to get them.

You can pay for your skill points, it is called Fissure. It just screws over rangers and such.

If you haven't ascended, then you should have few problems with running out of skill points. You can still get them from missions, there are still quests to do that will give you skills, and it's easy to level up.

The Fissure of Woe is a great place to get experience, because quests there give you 5000xp, at a minimum. Most give 10k.
