Good price on a sword

I been playing Guildwars for a couple of days and i want to get a new sword for my W/M for around 1k ,but i have seen prices of swords go up and down so im just wondering if anyone can tell me a good max damage sword for 1k and also does colour affect the price of items?

Colour plays a HUGE part on the price of the item but not on the quality of the item. If you want to buy something that for example is in Gold writting and there is something exaclty the same in Blue writing the Gold is more expensive. All though i have to say i dont know if there are any items like that but i bet there are.

Well if you like you can get a Fiery Dragon sword for around 1.5K which is good and looks pretty good too. May need more swordmanship points however.
