Why does game gear Ele's to Fire

When u start out all ur skills in pre are either fire or energy storage. You get ur first skills other than fire a little past ascalon in post. Takes a good part of the game until u can become full earth or whatever. Its quite sad to see the lack of diversity in the low level ele's. As of now my ele that is at thunderhead keep. i only have 7 air magic skills. and oodles and oodles of fire magic. go figure. Wondering why they did this. You guys probaly dont know either but. the thread will probaly turn into other things that certain proffessions gear you twords

Actually I agree. earth and water arent even remotely available until late in the game. Yet it's also true that fire is the easiest to learn elementalists with. So I'm split either way, although it would've been nice to learn some other skills earlier on.

if they gave u same air skills early on then every1 would be areomancers and u would barely ever see nukers. why. because they grew up on air. air is their home. they know it inside and out. but they only gave us fire. so thats y all the nukers

They probably have more Fire skills than anything else, because it's easy and effective for PvE newbs.

Hmm, well, in PvP all you see is aeromancers, so same thing, I guess. (Chain Lightning pwns everything else). But in PvE, I have never seen an Hydromancer. IDK, I wanted to make a geo or hydromancer, but yeah, I noticed a lack of skills in those areas.
But yes, fire is amazing for newbies, since they can go and spam flare and blast things with firestorm.

its true that early on all you get is fire skills, but later on you start to see more air eles.. im yet to see a geo or hydromancer...
