Teams lieing to get you to join their team

I'm a perfectionist.
I have a compelling need to conquer every single aspect of any game I play.
I need to get every single skill available, finish every single quest and in Guild Wars, do every single mission and bonus.

I'm a 20th level primary monk I'm up to the Ice mines and have done every single quest so far (I even rounded up that farmers prize hogs in pre-searing)

I'm short of 4 bonus's but I am having a massive problem with people lieing to me just to get me into the party just to finish the mission!

I always PUG "Bonus only" or "LFG that will do bonus" but people always say that they'll do it, get me to join and I don't find out they never had any intention of doing the bonus untill I see the mission completed cut scene.

I've had people give me their word of honour that they will do bonus and then not even attempt it.

Has anyone else had this problem because I'm beginning to feel that most GW players have absolutely no honour.

An example, I have succesfully completed the Dunes quest 5 times but never done the bonus even though I'm an absolute expert now at both! I can't do it with henchies and am very reluctant now to join any party.

As a Monk, people can and will lie to you, nothing you can do. If you feel cheated, leave the party and try again.

Yes, its very hard to find people you can trust in guild wars, i think mainly because there are so many youngsters in thegame, they really dont have any respect or honor and dont really care for people.

I think the best way to do bonuses is to get people you know ie guild or people you can trust you have made friends with in the game and put on friends list.

Also if you need help with any, ill be glad to help you as i have some bonus's to do. Just give me a msg in game (and tell me who you are or ill forget and get scared :P)

Well... monks are often in high demand, especially in the desert missions where alot of the griefers and scammers are stuck. The best suggestion i'd have for this kind of situation is just to use henchmen. Their damage may not be as great, but if you heal along with another hench monk you should be able to survive fine.

Play with who you know, make friends

If someone completed the bonus before, they will likely complete it again, so, exchange address, phone number, give some gift if you could Sorta like dating...

get henchies, do the bonus. 90% of them are so easy!
