but now, the question is, if GW will let ppl "show off" or display their gear in town @ full release. thats the only thing i think would be a small missing content for this game.
you can only see player's armor, not weps.
reasons i think they didnt want to show weps in towns is (1)to cut the memory usage and lag, since there will be tons of ppl in towns (like any mmorpgs).
(2) gw wants this game to be based on skills and deter ppl from choosing "uber" looking ppl only.(which is a good concept)
now. how about cool looking shields (eternal shields,etc.). anyone got screens of them.

If Arena.Net really has a broad range of armors which look different but aren't better, that's just about perfect. You can still PvE for hours to look "T3h Pwn" but you don't need it for PvP

all the professions provide the same weapons, but if your a warrior you get swordsmanship, hammer mastery, and axe mastery which make you more powerful with those weapons if you put attribute points into them, other professions such as ranger get markmanship which make them stronger with bows if they put attributes into them. Do you get what i mean?

Oh, and Arrows are infinite. You don't buy them, craft them, or get different types.

you can use 4 weapons, but i suggest only using one weaponm and put your attributes into taht one weapon instead of like 2 or 3. does anybody got a shadow shield pic? plz post it

skills, each class have different' skill attributes to lvl up, take elem for ex, it got energy storage (increase mp) fire (incresae fire dmg) water, air, earth, then theres 3 more 2ndary attributes to lvl. dont worry if u made a mistake, theres always attribute refoundable points. and those are useful to change your tactics in between misisons and in pvp.

Annoyingly I had a Shadow Sword that I got at pretty low level with horrid damage. I had no idea it would be a "rare" graphic and salvaged it because the stats were so bad. It's pretty hard to describe. It's very thin and black all over. The blade's shape is very typical, bladed on both sides and with a slight thickening in the middle with the top coming to a point, except for the fact that it's split down the middle and has an empty space there. Very wicked looking.

Fellblades aren't new this patch, they've been there for awhile. They make me feel like Cloud or Dante whenever I wield one. I'll take a fiery dragon over a fellblade any day of the week(long as I'm not fighting flame-retardant creatures).
I've got an eternal bow, looks pretty but the stats suck, not max damage, no bonus, etc.
I think they're being fairly careful about poking the pure PvP players in the eye with a PvE grind stick. Some PvP guy will start whining about elites, but honestly, getting the one elite you can put in your build shouldn't take you more than an hour or two, suck it up grasshopper.

shadow shield is just a skull shield which is completely black and had orange eyes
the magma shield is way cooler, you can get it in the Abaddons Mouth mission from the stone boss....have seen it only once..
its like a crude shield which is completely black and has a huge mouth filled with fire..thats what i call a shield
i currently carry the Eternal shield and i sold about 6 chaos axes yesterday, ppl offered 500 for a chaos axe without stats, so it was fine with me :P

btw i noticed on that picture, number 166 or 167, the dragon sword of enchanting
it requires 13 swordsmanship, which is kinda lame cause you can only raise a attribute to 12 without stats on an item :P

I saw an eternal bow last night for the first time, I've gottne ahold of a eternal shield though and I love it. Granted it doesn't have any mods on it but it's very asteticly pleasing, which makes me happy.
I'll now be hunting for an eternal sword.....you know it's gotta exist somewhere. Wonder about a chaos sword???

BTW now in retail i've found almost all my previous equip
plus a Fellblade, upgraded Zealous, I love how it looks
But my favorite is the staff i've created only for casting :

Kain that staff is AWESOME! I've benn looking for beter weapons but I keep finding warior and ranger stuff. Never any good monk stuff.
