I forget. Really. I don't know.

I've done well with overclocking my processor, but how do you test your video card overclock?

I remember using some 3dmark program for benchmarking a few years ago, I wonder if it's still valid....

I highly recommend that you do not overclock your video card. I ruined one because of overclocking, and that made be a very angry egg roll .

you run a benchmark like 3ds mark 2005

also unless the manufacturer is happy with overclocking say goodby to the warranty

usually you advance the clocks a small bit at a time than run a stress benchmark and look for visual artifacts (white specs or prismatic effects , anything that is not right) to see if the card is keeping up

if you get artifacts back off

usually you dont gain enough to make it worth the effort as it is fast enough out of the box

To overclock your graphics card i reccomend a program called ATITOOL.
However, i seriously do NOT RECOMMEND OVERCOCKING! If you want to be safe and not blow up your card, don't overclock.

But if you do, try this out. Get the newest version.

This is the link for ATITOOL.
