Guys help me decide

I got a level 20 Monk/Warrior and starting to get bored with it so I was planning to make a new character. What would you guys suggest?
I also have a lvl 12 necro/memser which i mostly use the memser skills... so i think i picked the wrong secondary. I just though the necro looked better : p
any suggestions?
I was thinking maybe a hammer warror/elementalist or just deleted my necro (since I hardly use the necro skill and I will never get invited into party) and start a memser...

Hmmn, had a necro/monk that other monks loved in parties. Blood ritual rocks ;P Then i switch my secondary for mesmer for distortion/price of failure.
Hammer Warrior/elementalist would be cool. Expecially if you have a weapon with an element on it. Gah i really need to play war more...
Warrior/mesmer would be cool to, just so you can hurt mages as well as other melee.
What do you like better? melee or spells?

I wouldn't get rid of your Monk/War. if you put a lot of time into it and getting better armor and such.I think about doing the same thing sometimes with my Monk sometimes as I was rushed into post without all my skills from pre as some 11year old took me throught the academy at level 4 anyway I went and bought some skills and lost some valueable skill points but after reading Jelly Samwiches posting on his/her build I don't want to but there are times when I think about it.

well I mostly played my monk so I dont' know how fun melee is in guildwars... but I read all these post saying how people can easily shut down a warrior which kinda scares me from melee.
I played ranger for like 20 min...and got bored, does it get better later?

Yeah it can get really fun, and i know ill probably get yelled at by other rangers, but my ranger/war used a sword instead of a bow, it was actually pretty fun.
Oh heres a cool thread too. Go to the posted link on the thread below and it has some cool character builds that you may like.

Hrm!!
The classes I've tried and the reasons for doing so..
Character #1 E/MO this was my first class, I figured I want to be casting spells for mega damage thou when you start your limited to the realm of fire pretty much. which for me was a uber turn off since I'm always one to do the opposite of what everyone else does if everyone else plays fire so I tried water which has some decent spells but still wasn't what i was looking for. I ended up switching to Lightning once i was able to get chain lightning and all the other good ones which i still use today as for defense I used the realm of earth (armor of earth/melee ward) all i ever really used the MO for was rebirth when things went way wrong.. Now that I've finished the game with this character and i have a full contact list of skilled people who actually know how to play i dont have to worry so much about defense and rezing.
Just the other day I switched my secondary to mesmer and noticed my offensive abilities increase two-fold by just adding arcane echo this now sits on my skill bar where rebirth used to be and I've also since then dropped earth in place of ele attunement and lightning attunement instead of ether prodigy I like this a lot and still have a little tweaking to do.. so throughout the game if your worried about bad situations occuring frequently take E/MO otherwise if you want to blast monsters all day long like never before take E/ME
Character #2 W/E after playing my ele I found out i could stand my ground right beside most warriors just by using Earth Spells (Armor of Earth/Melee Ward) so I figured I wanted to be god and make myself into an unmovable mountain. I must say I am happy with the outcome the benefit of a W/E over a W/MO is simple I can be a W/E and cast all my earth spells on myself and then with a protection monk along in the group he can also cast all his buffing spells on me also which makes me unstoppable. This versus the W/MO whom cast their owning buffing spells on themselves but cannot recieve any of the earth buffing spells from the elementalist of the group because ele can only target themselves with beneficial spells.
Note: Obsidian Flesh(elite) is also a great ele earth spell i sometimes use in place of Gladiator Defense(elite) and ele will hate you all the same for using it.. MWahahaha!
Character #3 R/ME This is my new character just made it to post searing my idea behind this one was to be so annoying your enemy would rather kill themselves than fight you. I do believe both rangers and mesmers have uber evasive technics vs. melee combat and yet both can be effective at range with either DoT (damage over time- Poison/Phantasm) or other annoying abilities like the rangers crippling shot or mesmers slowing spells and spell disruption.

If on your N/Me you mostly use mesmer skills, why not just delete it then start over as Mesmer/(insert secondary here)?

ya I am probably going to end up deleting my necro... i just thought necro looked cooler than memser...

My Monk/Warrior is my favorite character. Another fun one is Ele/Mesmer. Works very well and is versatile. You can nuke your heart out without any energy problems, or do a combination of damage nuking and anticasting or energy deprivation.

Here's what I've tried:
E/Mo lvl 11- Deleted after it was banned for inappropriate name (I was a newb)
E/Me lvl 20- Ascended it and got to Droknars, bought 2 sets of armor and many runes... then deleted to free up a PVP character slot.
R/N lvl 10- Did a marksmanship build, didn't find it too interesting despite the fact that it pwned in Ascalon Arena.
N/W lvl 14 - Blood Magic Build, like elementalist, no energy = dead. Got a run to droknars, bought 2 sets of armor... deleted it recently to make a Mo/N.
Heres what I currently have:
Mo/R lvl 20 - Ascended, bought 2 sets of armor, pretty good IMO. Although I might just delete him after ascending my Mo/N.
W/Mo lvl 20 - Started as W/R, ran through a lot of stuff, I really like this character. He can actually take hits.
Mo/N lvl 10 - Currently working on her, spent 6.5 hours to get to lvl 10.

I am really leaning toward the warrior/elemanlist idea right now since I want to try some melee. How viable is hammer warrior for pve and pvp and which element should I concentrate on?

Necros are great in PvE, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
