Does this spell automatically exploit the corpse as soon as it dies, or can you cast this to get a Bone Horror and then exploit the corpse after this? I ask because it doesn't actually say "exploit corpse" in the spell.

Yes- when someone dies when hexed with Malign Intervention, their corpse is exploited.
