spider pets and leveling?

Ok, first guy I WANTED to make was a ranger but that didnt happen, so now I think about one and I want to know if you can level a pet to 20 or if you have to find a level 20 pet.

Also, pre-searing spiders able to become pets? (seen a few green named friendly ones)

and is there and post-searing ones?

Yes any pet can be leveled to 20 and no the pre searing spiders are not charmable the only spider that can be charmed is the black widow in the Underworld.

some people think the spiders are better...but truth is all pets are balanced

Ok, I have heard from a few people now that you CAN tame the darn moss spiders, though more than many say you can't.

Any other opinions on the matter.

The biggest arguement for "yes" that I have heard is that you have to have high beast mastery to do it, now you cant get it too high obviously since its pre-searing ascalon.

right now my skill is a 5 and no luck with the friendly one in green hills county

I'm so glad to hear that you can actually get a spider, even if you have to go all the way to the underworld. I've been wanting a spider forever.

Ive been it the UW several times, never got close to the spider place. Groups get wiped out before we ever get close.
Desided I like bears better :-)
