Dragon Armor COMBOS

I ahve 15k platemail, and only need the boots to finish it. i am considering also getting 15k dragon armor, but only like the chest piece and leggings. all i ever see are people in the full set, but the boots and gauntlets are ugly. can any1 plz post their favorite dragon armor combo (not the full set)

i am thinking of going dragon chest and leggings, and fissure gloves and boots and maybe even fissure helm, that combo is IMO the best if you cannot afford whole fissure and it looks good too !

Well since i think dragon armor is ugly as sin, i cant post any reccomendations

errrrr no. black is not the "best" color out there imo. It's just for some stupid reason people like it and think it's cool.. and all it does imo is ruin armor's.

blech.. don't know why anyone would wanna dye some of the armor's black.. they look like sticks of black turd after dying the armor black.. walking and moving stick's of black turd!

Ascetics armor looks cool black imo

but i do tend to agree with kamatsu, people rush to dye things black coz they think its l33t, its not :P

i personally like dragon armor undyed, but my idea would be : FoW helm, dragon chest and leggings, 15k gald gauntlets, but i havent decided boots. anyone ahve somthing similar?

I have it on my 15K noble and it looks great. I would not dye anything else black since It does not show as much as mesmer armors.

Noble 15K Armor dyed black.


I have 15K dragon that I just moved to my mule character since I'm getting annoyed by it and now using regular 1.5k platemail but with knights waist since I do not like the platemail one.

I also have kngihts boots and gloves. I will post combo screenies when I get home in about 6 hours :cry
But I do not think that they would fit the dragon armor.

I agree. Black is a terrible color on its own most of the time. It causes many of armors to lose a lot of detail, especially 15k rogue's (mesmer), where the non-dyable portion is already black. Black mixed with another color is another story...

WTF this is supposed to be about dragon armor, not some chicks talking about how their dye looks cheap

i dont like the looks of dragon armor much..ive got it on my warrior, but i prefer to wear the 15k gladiators

i use black in some of my mixes, black + blue and black +green are really nice looking
and i die my necro scars black so it makes my necro look even more evil
