Hey,
Although I think Guild Wars has absolutely superb graphics, I think they should try and make some things (especially elementalist spells) look more realistic/improved.
For example, i think Firestorm looks more like lasers coming out of the sky then fireballs (when you look at the promo video when the female ele makes the sky erupt with fireballs), they could do things like adding smoke to them etc.
What do you think?

I agree. Phoenix looks the same as that other one...fireball i think it is.
It is however a minor issue (if indeed issue is the correct wording) and i doubt it will get much attention anytime soon.

Meteor shower almost look like that, almost in the sense it does not have that AoE range.

I think every skill of the game got unique animation (except some shouts/stances and pet attacks). Yesterday I was trying all the ranger skills and guess - all the attack skills and preparations got different animations AND most of the stances too. In the Alpha every spell got its own "rune" animation but they decided to take most of them off cuze in 8x8 battle you just saw some Pictures in the air and nothing more = image FLARE spell with rune...gee...

At least make Final Thurst a thrust like Sever Artery and not Glarath Slash...
