Just wondering if I'm the only one who read it and if may be this is the reason why there are that many morons in the game, probably is because most of them just don't know or don't care.

As per the above, though I actually glanced at the Code to see if there was anything beyond "act as a civilized human being".
I'm not suprised that the vast majority of the planet can't figure that out, whether they read the statement or not.

yeah i just glanced at them when I was in a dicussion in 1 thread and I wanted to quote part of it. Now the EULA I skimmed to make sure that I wasn't agreeing to anything really weird but I always read those.

i think its a good idea for people to read the code of conduct so that when they are banned or punished for doing something illegal they know why, instead of emailing ANet and going WHY WAS I BANNED? Its just so that people know that they are doing something against the rules and they are "venturing at their own risk."

I read them ALL..... he he, who am I kidding, I never really pay attention to them, I just try to be a nice person in general. True there is some idiots that run around GW and insult everyone. But just like in the real world, you've got the majority of people which mostly follow the law and you have the few that dont care about it. But in all, how many of those following the law, knows all of it.

I dont read codes of conduct. I have read 'A' code of conduct before, and they are all basically the same.

I also dont read state, county, and city laws much. I know enough not to beat my wife...

I disagree. This is only applicable to criminals and law enforcement. I dont need to know the law to benefit from it, I dont do things that would be considered illegal, therefore it is not relevant.

I glanced at them, but to me it's no big deal. If you aren't a retard, you don't need to know them to not violate them. Rules are for people who don't have a clue, or feel they need to push the envelope all the time.

If you just play any game the way it's intended to be played, you'll never need to know all the fine print.
