No, it's not worth it. A perfect 10% Sundering upgrade will only decrease your target's armor by an expected 1%. That is, over a large number of hits, a perfect Sundering is equivalent to a constant 1% AP which is barely anything.

Basically, it is the worst upgrade for a bow you can possibly choose. Vampiric and zealous are infinitely better.

I like my sundering sword. I could live with a barbed or furious though. Its not the worst upgrade (for swords at least) but its not the best.

No, it is downright terrible. 1% armor penetration (which is on average what a perfect Sundering does) will only boost your damage by about 1.5%. That's what, 2 damage a minute?? Furious and Zealous is way better on warrior weapons (more skill spams), and Zealous is the string of choice for almost any Ranger.

Really? I honestly dont see the point in a zealous string, that is untill they make one better than 1/-1,whats the point? I have all the energy I could ever need,I never run out and depending on my build, either trapper or sniper,I have atleast one skill on that costs 25 energy, and I never run out ever

If you aren't having energy issues, then maybe a 5/1 Vampiric would be better. Or for a trapper don't even bother with a bow.

Most rangers spam skills as hard as they can, so they can do the most damage they can/harrass the spellcasters as best they can. This requires energy, even with 14 Expertise, especially if you are bringing a spell or 2. I honestly have to question how good of a job as a sniper you can be doing if you aren't having energy problems due to Tiger's Fury and Penetrating Shot spam.

A zealous shortbow will give you 2 energy in 4 seconds, at the cost of 4/3 of an energy. Add in Tiger's Fury and you can get it up as high as 3 energy in 4 seconds, for still the 4/3 of an energy.

Using with a normal level of TF will gain you about an extra pip of energy more than the one you lose for the string.

Hmm, maybe he can't spell or is not a very good typist, ever thought of that? How stuck up your own backside is that?
"Cant use a keyboard as well as me so im not gona talk to him".
I find it very hard to type (this takes me ages) so ingame I tend to use abbreviations as I cant keep up with other players otherwise. Does this make me any less worthy of having a conversation with?
Now usualy I dont get upset about such things but I have been hearing a lot of similer comments recently.

In response to Rajamic: I am mostley a trapper, and I use an insightful raven staff, this sniper build is new to me,so tell me this, why would I want to waist points in beastmastery for tf when I could just use Lightning reflexes? I really am genuinely curious about this, when I use my new so called sniper build,I have these skills equiped from left to right: Lightning refelxes>Barrage>distracting shot>savage shot>Concussion shot>precision shot and pindown(and ofcourse rez sig) and I never run out of energy,my marks is at 16,my expertise at 12,and I can spam all of these skills over and over with no energy problems,I use druids armor ofcourse,so enlighten me people!

Sundering is not worth it in my opinion. Again, I agree with the above posters. Use furious or zealous for axes and swords, and furious for hammers. For bows, sundering is actually a decent choice to me simply because i dislike vamp mods. The only alternative for me would be a zealous mod.

This is getting way off topic, but there are 2 big things:
1) It only takes 3 attribute levels + a minor rune to get TF to last 7 seconds.
2) Both last 5-10 seconds. TF has a recharge time of 10 seconds. Lightning Reflexes is 60 second recharge. In 60 seconds, you get at best like 11 seconds of fast attack with LR, while TF with only BM of 4 (takes what, 6 attribute points?) gives you 42 seconds of the same faster attack.
