Are there any player stats (str, sta, int, etc) involved in this game, other than the AC (I think) that shows up when you buy armor?
As an El/Me, I saw some armor I could wear all was +30.
Do I have other stats, or do Warriors have higher stats on things?
Can I view these stats anywhere?

Player stats are called Attributes. They impact how well you are able to use your skills, and some have other inherent benefits (Strength increases armor penetration with each level). Some equipment also requires a certain min level in a certain attribute. For example, if you were to find a sword that did 14-20, then that sword might have a requirement of an 8 Swordsmanship to use it. If you didn't have an 8 Swordsmanship, it would give 3-5 points of damage instead f 14-20.
Armor plays a critical role in Guild Wars. Armor is wholly class based, and is a primary characteristic of the class. Warriors have high base armor levels and their armor excels at being resistant to physical attacks. Rangers have armor almost as good basewise, but it excels at resisting elemental damage. The other classes have different variations of "caster" armor. You can only wear armor from your primary class. So if you're a Warrior/Elementalist, you get warrior armor with the good AC and slow energy regen. If you're an Elementalist, you get the armor with the low AC and double energy regen of the warrior armor.

Please read the attribute guide here. Also, while you're there, please read all of the other guides in the New Players Center. Why? Because most of these questions will be answered there. If you still can't find it, also check the guides section -- all the information is there. All it takes is for one to look.
