question of curiousity.

Are dell Motherboards standard atx? just curious because i make get a new tower for personal reasons.. plus to help me play guildwars better

They are typically not standard. The way they mount in the Dell cases is not standard ATX. There are several websites that detail putting a dell MB into another case but more often than not it is not worth the trouble.

Just get a new case. I've messed around with refurbishing computers at school, and there is sometimes (literally) ripping things out of the case (i.e. riveted standoffs) to get a standard motherboard to fit. Cases are not that expensive, but don't get too cheap. The cheapest of the cheap are sometimes thinner/weaker frame metal, and if you get one with a PSU, be careful. Some of the PSUs that come with the case don't run at the stated wattage. I don't recommend using the Dell PSU with it either: proprietary computers are generally fitted with the lowest wattage PSU that the components need, plus maybe a little for slight expansions (PCI cards and maybe a low-end VC) I had a Compaq that had a PSU rated at "145W" but when you read the fine print, it said it should not be run over 90W...piss poor for any PSU.

Yeah, just go for the a new case, motherboard, and new PSU. A good motherboard and PSU will allow you to overclock and you can get much more power out of your machine that way.
