You know the skill. It gives you reduced preparation recharge time and ~40% increased duration - but it is ELITE skill. That brings its usefullness for 2 skills only = Choking gas and Read the wind. All other preparation skills got recharge time as much as it's duratiom OR they are elite. The skill can be usef like IF someone interupts your preparation and you will wait a little bit less but to take one skill and ELITE only for that... Other use might be only for the duration, not to "kneel down" every 24 secconds to prepare another "kindle arrows"...but to kneel down like every 32 secs...which is not a big advantage for an elite skill.

What do you think?

I am pretty sure it is the time required to prepare is reduced... not the recharge time.

So if it take 2 sec to get kindle arrow on, now it take only 1 sec.

Choking gas is probably the only reason I would use this... but while at that, I am not a big fan of choking gas... but I am sure you can annoy the hell out of the other team just by yourself alone for 14 sec, and I don't know how much energy you just wasted on their team.... although if I get pick on by choking gas, I would just stop casting and run for cover.

Indeed it is then...

Well, I think in that sense... it is better than cast time... now you can probably choking gas 24/7 if one wish to =/

I've been wondering this myself.. I think the skill is a bit 'underpowered' to be an elite. The only practical uses are Choking Gas and Read the Wind, as mentioned before.

Meh :/

I don't even see it useful with Read the Wind. Choking and Incendiary, but Incendiary is also elite, so meh. Also, you can't use it with Tiger's Fury, since they are both stances.

Someone (I think Minwanabi) said on another thread that Practiced Stance only has to be active when you finish applying the preperation to affect that prep, so you CAN use it with Tiger's Fury.

Choking Gas is the only real application. Read the Wind just isn't that useful anyway.

Actually this way: Practice strance, Prep (chock gas), Tigers furry - and i still don't know will it affect the recharge time.

I suppose combining it with quickening zeph on choking gas + deliberate shot would be quite an energy denial... you cancel out their spell that was 30% more already, then you deliberate shot them for another 10... if you catch someone using a 25 energy spell... that is like 42 energy down the drain in an instant.

Yes, Practiced Stance, use prep, then use Tiger's Fury works, despite having 2 stances used. PS just needs to be active when you use the prep to get the effect (PS will wear off before a 50% longer duration Ignite Arrows wears off). Personally, I like to use Ignite Arrows + Conjure Frost + Tiger's Fury to shoot like a machine gun. Time I'm not using to prep is time I'm still doing damage, time my teammates aren't waiting for me to "get ready".

Really, there aren't that many elites I'd rather take with me for my build. Everything I bring in PvE is relatively fast recharging so I don't need Oath Shot (I do use it in PvP, though). Poison Arrow doesn't really interest me and doesn't work on about 1/3-1/4 of the stuff you have to fight by the time you get it (azures, necro minions, possibly titans and jades, etc.)

The idea is that Practiced stance got 100% efficiency only with 1 skill - other got around 40%..or cannot be combined.
