Customized stuff?

Hey gang....

Whats the deal with customized weapons?

I was under the impression that if you customized a weapon....it was not a problem...if you traded or sold it...the customization was just erased from the weapon itself.

However....I ran across one particularly rude punk ( I AM being nice!) who seemed to think that I was trying to cheat him in some fashion...how I don't know. But he claimed he would not be able to use the weapon after it was sold and transfered because of the customization.

Is this true? ...can someone please clear this up for me?

Upon your customization, another can no longer use the weapon/armor/item.

I've been wondering...if you create a PvP character, put their armor in storage, and then wait awhile, and then create a PvE char with the same name, go into post searing, and use that armor? Would that be possible?

I think that was possible at one point but they fixed it just recently.

knives - don't think so. I know you can't use armor/weapons customized for a PvE character doing that. IE creatre a character, get weapons/armor and put in storage, delete character and sometime later re-create with the same name... you won't be able to use those weapons/armor.

Ahh ok. Don't know, just mindless pondering. Probably why you dont see people doing that and then just everyone has max armor in post-searing ascalon. Thanks for the replies.

yeah. now people get rushed from beacons to droknars and get armor anyways -_-

That would be crazy if you did that but changed the profession so you had a 15k platemail armor and put in on a lvl3 necro
