Might get game, Quik Question...

Hey guys,

New here and interested in the game. I come from 2+ years experience with Neverwinter Nights Online. I have a few quik questions...

-From info I've been reading about it seems as though the game is split in two; One world being non-PvP and another that is just arenas and stuff that is PvP. I was wandering if you can battle other players in the normal story mode of the game or if you have to exit the story mode and go to PvP mode?

-Also can you make a guild in the story mode game and fight other guilds or other factions?

-Are there factions in this game or just "friendly duels"?

there are no factions only different guilds

Yes you can fight other guilds and it is only possible to create a guild with your story character, but all you characters including you r pvp are automaticly members there.

The world is not split in 2, the PvP arenas are located throughout the storyline map and are accesable by both your story-character and your PvP character.
PvP Characters are characters who are instantly levelled up to max level, you chose the best armor and weapons, and the skills and equipment which you have unlocked with your roleplaying (storyline character) are accesable.

Yes, most definitely. GvG is one of the main focus in the game.

Well also one more thing I was thinking about, can someone just come up to you and attack you? Or do you have to go to an arena?

You have to be in an arena ... which BTW, I really like. No lvl 20's running around killing the lvl 1-10 ohhh just for the heck of it.

PS Players can only interact freely in cities with more than 8 people...once your outside an outpost or city you cant bump into others. This is to make the world seem specially chosen for you and only you are "the chosen one" along with your 7 teammates.
So the only time an online player is attacking you is when you are attacking him in the arenas
