I use vairous skill sets depending on the area im in for all my characters. It would be nice to have a save as button on the skills dialoge. You press the button, type in the skill loadout description - "Skelleton killer" It gets added to a drop down list. You can select this and others you saved from the list and it loads the skill slots you saved them with.

We really need this. Would save so much time and people from running out of a zone before i manualy load my skills set each time.

For my war skill saves i would have:
Runner
Knockdown
Solo exping
Tank

Ele I would:
Time bomb
Solo
Nuker

etc... this would be soo handy to be able to quickly switch between these!

This is a great idea considering the versatility of each class in GW. I too wish there was something like "load a saved skill set" rather than having to switch skill by skill when I decide to play some PvP on my PvE guy, or when I go help some lower level guildie out, etc.

There could at least be something like a "custom" option in the "Sort by:" drop-down box of your skills window, so that you could drag-and-drop skills to re-sort them, leaving the ones you use the most on top.

Being a programmer myself i know how quick and easy this is to do.

Simply put your skills in your skillbar, click save on the skills list dialoge and it adds it to the list. From that point on its as easy as selecting your loadout from that list.

Aye - i have a warrior and ranger.

Warrior:
Smite Farm 1
Smite Farm 2
Solo
Mission

Ranger:
Solo
Mission
Trapper

Not to mention my warrior has different armors for them >.<
I end up having to write everything down, because these skills are in a specific order i need to use.

I've been wishing for something like this almost since I started playing. You can make weapon sets, so why not skill sets? Having to manually select each time is pretty annoying at times, particularly when you're in a hurry.

I'd probably have:

Warrior -

Tank Build
Damage Build
Speed Build
PvP Axe Build
Pvp Hammer Build

Ranger -

Trapper Build
Interrupt Build
Damage Build
Pet Build
Speed/Defense Build
PvP Interrupt Build
PvP Spirit Build

.. and that's just for starters.

I use my PvE char for PvP, changing skills everytime (various times a day) is a PITA!

I believe this is a great time to bring this idea up again. The only problem before SF update were attribute refunds because different builds often require different att. points distribution. Now, this problem is gone. So it would be nice to have "skill slots" button right next to the weapons one when yu press H. Attribute points should also be saved for each skill slot. Switching skill slots? Well, i have no idea about this. Any suggestions perhaps?

Hey, this idea rocks. Especially since they removed attribute refund points now. I'm not sure what to do about the attribute sets either, other than make it save the attribute set with your skill set. On the bright side, if we can't get attribute sets, if you do run off on a mission with the skill set you wanted, but not the attribute point distribution to go with it, you can fix the attribute points at any time and be ok

Nah, saving skillsets like that for just "rearranging your skills" is not really important (to me)... now, if we could save our own PvP Preset Characters rather than re-rolling them everytime we accidently put the wrong leggings or whatever on... that'd be useful.

Even if we were limited to saving like 2 or 3...

wow ive been thinking of this idea for a month but ive been to lazy to write it down i was right about to do it today then i saw this post dude. DEFINITELY especially you need it so you dont have to keep creating new chars over and oveer again. since we have to delete old cahrs to create new ones since i got 3 rpg chars i dont wanna kill those since i spent so long on those, but the only ones i can delete are my pvp chars i have. so thus it would be nice to save it so i dont have to keep remembering how that build went and all that tedious stuff

Good both saving skill set and attributes for that set.

I think if you write your builds down it will be sufficient. If people have 4 characters, with like 10 builds on each, that is a crapload of server storage for nothing.

With the new attribute refund system, I would say it is not easy to mess up your attributes. You just write down your stuff, and you will not have to use this suggestion.

how about if they limit it like weapon sets, where you can only have 4? 4 characters, 4 skill sets each, doesn't sound too terrible. I really hope they can implement this idea in some form so that it's easier to change out your skills
