question about pre-order items

I pre-ordered from best buy so it is my undertsanding that I will be recieving a sheild upon release. However I'm a monk and have no use for it. So I was wondering if it is possible to trade a pre-order special item for a different pre-order item from another player.

yea i was wondering about this too, as a ranger this shield will do nothing for me, and if you can trade it, would anyone mind trading with me?

Can I trade with someone to obtain a unique preorder item?
The unique item that is part of the preorder package is a customized item and therefore cannot be wielded by other characters.
