Add in jackpots or Gambling Den or something?

I suggest having Mini-Games like jackpots(?) will help as a gold sink for the economy and also gives players that have completed the game some other things to do.

My idea is this, I put like 100 golds to spin the jackpot(just an example, please suggest other games to fit into Guild Wars theme). Instead of winning more golds, I win tokens which should works like Factions instead of them being an item. Then I can trade the tokens for maybe the same purpose as Factions does(unlock items for PvP) or trade for some cool looking weapons like Storm Bows with different kinds stats or Shields or maybe even crafting materials like ecto or shards.

Just a suggesting, any comments?

No, I dont' think Guild Wars wants to promote gambling. That's why they took out /roll in towns, since people were using it for gambling purposes.

Nope. /roll was removed because people were scamming not gambling. They would run casinos but never pay up upon losing

There are many, many other ways to add gold sinks into the game without the less than family oriented gambling option. We're not all adults here, and with the way some of the elder teens, and youngen 20ish crowd act, I'm not sure they're still out of their diapers yet. However - this game is meant to be played by people of all ages, and I certainly wouldn't want my 11 or 12 year old playing any game that promotes gambling in any form.

Well...Gambling is just a word I use as I couldnt think of any other better word. Mini-Games perharps?

I didnt suggest to add any form of gambling, I guess i'll change all the word "gambling" to mini-games then

Like Yak races! Or...or...roulette? That's not gambling, it's a mini-game! Russian Roulette, then

The only thing I can really think of would be a bunch of people racing, with random monsters and crap, and whoever wins gets a prize. Or something.
