Okay, this monk build is different, totally different ~_^.

Also, I don't know how well it would work. I believe a Mesmer coudl really mess him up >_<, however, the concept I believe is okay.

Attribute Calculator Character Dump

Class: Monk / Mesmer

Assumed items:
+1 to Divine Favor
+2 to Protection Prayers

Attributes: (cost)
Divine Favor: 12+1 (97)
Protection Prayers: 12+2 (97)
Inspiration Magic: 3 (6)

Total attribute points used: 200/200

Skills:
1) Reversal of Fortune - (5,1/4,2) The next time target ally would take damage, that ally gains that amount of health instead, maximum 76.
2) Mend Condition - (5,3/4,2) Remove one condition from target other ally. That ally is healed for 66 health.
3) Peace and Harmony (elite) - (5,1,45) For 82 seconds, target ally gains +1 energy regeneration. Peace and Harmony ends if that ally attacks or casts a spell that does not target an ally. This is an elite skill.
4) Vital Blessing - (10+,2,0) While you maintain this enchantment, target ally has +189 maximum health.
5) Divine Boon - (5+,1/4,0) While you maintain this enchantment, whenever you cast a Monk spell on an ally, that ally is healed for 64 health, and you lose 2 energy.
6) Watchful Spirit - (15+,2,10) While you maintain this enchantment, target ally gains health regeneration of 2. That ally is healed for 160 health when Watchful Spirit ends.
7) Life Bond - (10+,2,0) While you maintain this enchantment, whenever target other ally takes damage from an attack, half the damage is redirected to you. The damage you receive this way is reduced by 29 points.
8) Blessed Signet - (0,2,10) For each enchantment you are maintaining, you gain 3 energy, maximum 21.

The basic idea is cast Peace and Harmony on yourself. This will help you keep your energy somewhat.

Next cast your 4 enchantments as needed. Now, these will really drain your energy. You will be at about (-1) pip of regen. However, every ten seconds you can cast Blessed Signet (2 second cast time) and get 12 energy back.

Now, hopefully you can maintain enchantments while also casting reversal of fortune at will. Add mend condition when necisary. Granted, this monk will be beaten to bits by a mesmer, and will most likely need a monk support, but would the basic idea work?

I see where you are going with the maintained enchantments and such but they all have 2 second cast times and thus you can’t get them on a target who is going down. I would suggest using these skills for a protection build: shielding hands, protective spirit, shield of deflection/shield of regeneration, and Aegis. You don’t have to use all of the skills listed just swap some of them in for the maintained enchantments in your build. Definitely pick up either shield of deflection or shield of regeneration since you don't have an elite. You can still keep blessed signet around just use life bond on 4 teammates before the battle starts instead of trying to get all of those maintained enchantments on the guy taking damage before he dies.

OH my bad yeah peace and harmony isn't worth it then if i couldnt even remmber that its elite heh. I mean over the course of a battle it will give you 22 energy which is meh. compair that to energy drain which can give you 15 energy every 20 seconds and you can use it atleast 4 times during a battle.

In defense of Peace and Harmony, it is linked to Divine Favor so you don't have to branch into another attribute line to use it. And since they lowered the recharge, I was able to run it on both myself and an ally monk (at DF14 it lasts long enough that's there's only about 5 seconds when it's not active).

I always found Protective Spirit to be ineffective because in most PvP fights, the player that is about to die is usually poisoned, bleeding, or hexed. Which of course goes right through that enchantment.

If you're going to be using life bond you might as well put balthazar's spirit in there and get some energy out of it.
