Pressing T and C
Nicro Mancer
Why is it that when I press t and c, the targetted or closest enemy is selected correctly, but i don't attack him. I can cast spells on him, but if i want to attack him with my staff (im a necro), i have to physically click on the enemy - which sometimes isnt easy when there are people rushing around and getting in between me and the enemy. Is there a reason for this?
Wouldn't it be better if when you press t or c you actually attack the enemy instead of just running into the range of the enemy and just stopping?

Silmor
Use space after hitting T or C and you will perform your 'default action' on it, which in the case of enemies is attacking with your weapon.

Are you selecting an attack when you use t or c? Those are only 'select' keys. You have to hit spacebar or one of your skillbar hotkeys (1-8) to actually attack them.

All hail the 'Do it' button

Pressing T and C just targets them. If you want to attack, just hit your space bar right after.
Alot of times when I'm in the random arenas with my Me/N, I like to attack one caster, and when that character is near death I target the closest next caster. That way I'm ready when the toon that I'm attacking goes down.
Edit: Got beat to the punch by alot, lol

press T and then space. Space is the default button for action. It will make you talk to people, follow people, and attack enemies.
Xonic
seperation of target and action is very useful. so I don't accidently attack a group of 50 charrs when I only wanted to check what level they are, or whatever.
Algren Cole
uhm.....I wish I could see other peoples key configurations cuz I just select targets by either hitting T to switch to called targets or by clicking my mouse on them.

I use C, then CTRL+(1-8) or just CTRL+Space when with a group. If I'm doing a preparation or trap, I make sure to call it out before I call a target. Lets the group know that I'm gonna be about 2-3 secs before battle begins.

I'm pretty sure that some classes automatically attack after using a skill on an enemy but others, you must hit spacebar after using a skill because they do not auto attack after using that skill.
My ranger automatically attacks after using a skill. Perhaps someone could check this out?
