As much time as I spend in trade districts every day, I know for a fact zealous isn't worth 20k. You won't even sell it for 1k if you try. He tells a story and gives an excuse to inflate the price of his sword rather than buy a better upgrade for it.
And that guy is right about the req for an item not being a problem when it's their specialty, but honestly nobody uses swords for the damage. They switch to axe for one handed damage, or hammer for higher damage.
Swords are just a nice way to inflict conditions in a controlled state rather than waiting for adrenaline.

I fully agree, my comment on the req had to do with the numbers of perspective buyer, and the influence that would have on final price. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't lost my mind.
