Best place to find max. storm bows

I've been doing several uw runs with a group of 5 trappers and I've only seen one storm bow dropped and it was like 13-24. I'm on the quest to find a max damage and don't have the money to pay for one...where is the best place to try to find one and from what creatures????

AFAIK, all creatures have the same possiblilty of dropping them in UW. I have found max storms from the grasping darknesses from the first quest and max storms from the last group of smites.

UW Smites.

UW is the only place in the game where Storm Bows drop, If i remember correctly, so just keep trying and youll get it eventually.

Almost, Eternal_Drake. I got a max storm bow off of a Banshee while doing the Wailing Lord quest in Fissure of Woe. I have also seen Purple max Storm bows drop out of the chests in Fissure as well. Just depends on your luck, I guess.

The banshees in fissure are ghost-like creatures. They drop things like the creatures in UW (storm/eternal bows, ghostly staves, even ecto).

You can get gold storm bows from the HoH chest too

I just got a gold storm bow dropped for me a few minutes ago in uw had a eternal bow drop from the same grop too, no dmg mods on the storm bow but still....max dmg. UW smites obviously, probably helps that I'm doing it solo too.

Few minutes later I got another storm bow too.

I can back up Spartan2... I've seen a purple max storm bow pop out of the chest you get as a reward for the first quest in FoW.
