Questions for Rangers.

Hey yeah, I was an Archer/Monk last betas and I thought it was pretty good. I thought i delt good damage, i healed my party/rez and it worked quite well. there are some problems i did encounter. I looked for ever and i could not find the pets i would like the charm. I wanted to charm a wort hog but i could not find one.. all i found were "prize winning hogs" which were uncharm. So what i'm asking is if you could post what anmail you had and whrere you found it. Is it true once you leave the new ascalon city you can retaim a pet? because the only way i found that i could loses my pet is if i talked the the racher trainer in the woods that would evaluate your pet and then take it. i've read some post about a Lynx pet.. what is that?

I've seen only: wort hogs,mola birds, the cat that you usually start out with.

First of all, the Search Button is your friend, not your enemy. Use it.

To help you out, the pets are: Moa Bird, Warthog, and Lynx.

In preseared Ascalon the Moa Birds are called Striders and the Lynx is called a Melandru's Stalker, but as far as I know they are the same creatures. Warthogs are warthogs in both Presearing and Post Searing.

You can find a warthog in presearing near the pond where you fight the rogue bull for the mesmer quest. Hold down ALT and look for Warthog in green letters. Sometimes he's there, sometimes he isn't, I haven't figured out what triggers his appearance.
