Monk/Warrior Swordmaster?

I'm a new Guild Wars player (just got the game).

I'm interested in playing my Monk/Warrior and would love any advice more experienced players could give me.

Right now I am mostly interested in PvE, solo mostly and with henchmen as needed, at least I get used to the game and figure out how things work. (I'll worry about PvP later.)

My guy is level 8 at the moment, fooling around Old Ascalon (after the 'searing'). His attribute points are spent in Swordsmanship, Protection, and Healing (evenly distributed). The only attribute I absolutely must have is Swordsmanship.

I figure my guy's build will be subpar (unfortunately I have a knack for picking 'gimped' character concepts in roleplaying game), but that's okay. I'm more interested in the concept and trying to make it work. I just want to be able to kill stufff and stay alive.

Any advice from the gurus out there?

Mo/W20 Are the best tanks in the game x10, They spam healing and enchantments to stay alive unlike the warrior primarys with 20 energy and 2 regen arrows. The only way to kill them is Strip or Shatter Enchantment or knockdowns and disrupts. Build = 10 Swordmanship, 10 Protection, 11 Healing.
