Bow String Upgrade Question

Hi,

I have a Vampiric Bow with those stats:

Vampiric Half-Moon of Fortitude
Health +24
Life stealing 3
Health regen. -1

Now, if I buy a Vampiric String 5/-1, will it only replace the "vampiric" part of my bow? I sure do not want to lose the "+24 Health" in the process.

Don't worry, it will only change the string.

Same goes for Pommels, hilts, grips, hafts, heads, wrappings, um, anything else?

They will all only replace the type of mod that they are.

if you've got an abundance of gold go for it..it will only replace the string...but there's really no reason to spend 100K on a string to increase 3:1 to 5:1...use barrage and the 3:1 will be putting out awesome numbers.

Lol, if were going to talk about what to use, get a sundering string, because I don't like elemental damage, and a good necro at blood magic 16 and get 16 life steal from Order of the Vampire. All at no cost to your health regen. I also like the poisoners string. I haven't found Zealous to be great lately, but nevertheless. I can say that I don't like Vampiric bowstrings, no matter what the life steal number.
