What is better???

healing hands or word of healing? (PvE)

i found healing of hands to be very usful untell it became practically usless once all of the enemies did about 50-80 damge per hit, than it really wasnt too usful.

They are different. One is more protective and one is an insta-heal that you can spam across your team to keep them alive.

Healing Hands gets better the more mobs you tank. As for Healing hands it has a constant amount of health healed. I don't know the exact number at which number of mobs is the critical point, because I am too lazy to do the math. Ask Ensign to do it for you if you are really curious. :P

Low mana cost, low downtime, great life saver... Word of healing is better suited for most situations, but if you're say a wa/mo, healing hands would be better, considering you're not spamming out heals.

Healing Hands is perfectly suited to a Warrior/Monk's needs. Cast it on yourself once, continue attacking, get healed every time you're hit.

Word of Healing cannot be cast on yourself, so it's meant to be used on a dedicated healer. If you're a primary monk, you probably want to use Word of Healing if you have your party in mind, but you might be able to get by with Healing Hands.

Also consider if you suppliment yourself with extra armour eg +40 AL ... then you will be taking 1/2 damaage and those 50 damages now become 25... so you are actually no longer taking damage. It will really depend on what you are trying to accomplish. Keeping yourself alive or the group. Healers can often have a hard time of keeping themselves alive ... and healing hands can be usefull ... especially when being trained. Word of Healing is great for keeping others alive.
