PvE
I want to make a Mo/Me because i have always thought mesmers to be a very intriguing profession, yet my clanmates still count on me to heal them. i so i was wontering if i were to be a Mo/Me what mesmer skills would be good to get.
by the way i realise more of you dislike the idea of a healer doing somthing besides 100% healing, but realize i know that there is a time for healing and a time for killing things. as well i also realize that when you are doing PvE, it is a plausible tactic to play more than one role in the party. im just a noob trying some things out so dont yell at me.

You shouldn't be afraid to try different builds out, but realize that when you submit a build for scrutiny you are subjecting it to the tender mercies of the gaming public, whose mercies have been known to be not-so-tender.
Plus, you mentioned it was for PVE, and really, anything goes in PVE, as long as you do one thing well, you should definitely be able to get another to weork as well.
The first mesmer skill that pops to mind is:
-Channeling. Mobs love to rush you in PVE, so using this will give you a steady stream of stolen energy, even with a low Inspiration attribute.
-Energy Drain: If you don't have an elite yet, give this one a very long look. It's easily one of the best skills in the game, usable on a mesmer primary or secondary. On top of that, it's very useful even at 8-9 attribute levels.
-Sympathetic Visage: Kind of an alternate way to prevent damage. You'll fight a lot of melee mobs, and if they don't have energy and adrenaline, they wont be able to deal as much damage. A good skill, as long as you're not fighting mesmer or necro enemies that strip enchantments quickly.
-Mantra of Earth/Flame/Cold/Air: in general these are pretty forgetable skills (especially in PvP) but in PVE you have the advantage of knowing what's coming. If you know you'll fight a lot of casters using Fire Magic, bringing Mantra of Flame along is perfectly reasonable.
-Spirit of Failure: Cast this off-target to add a miss chance and some minor energy gain.
-Power Drain: Interrupts are mandatory when fighting self-healing bosses and monsters.
Those are the skills that come to mind when thinking about a PVE Monk who wants to splash into mesmer.
