Roleplaying?

I was wondering if there was going to be districts in the game that promoted roleplay. I have always enjoyed roleplaying on MUD's and to a lesser extent on mmorpgs and I think this game has a lot to offer a roleplayer. First and foremost is there isn't a huge level grind so you can concentrate more on rp then you could in a level 50-60 grind in other mmorpgs. Second is there is a great story unfolding as you go through the game. I was stunned at the first cutscenes you get when switching over to the war ravaged lands (not sure what it was called). This would be a great bonus for me if there were RP districts in the game.

Due to the instancing feature of Guild Wars and chat filtering, Guild Wars has the largest potential to be called home for Roleplayers. You are no longer forced to see non-RP talk and childish public ruining your atmosphere. You won't need special districts for RP because of the features I had mentioned. Just find an RP guild or make one with your friends so that you can have guild chat and filter out the rest.

I also suggest that you use commas because first time I read it, I thought you were asking about grind and story. :P However, you were stating them as facts.

lol, I will try to use comma's from now on. When I write on forums I tend to just ramble on and forget to use any puncuation (sp). My mind is about 30 seconds behind my fingers....Be thankful I didn't have a 400 word run-on sentence.

I would describe roleplay as thinking and acting like your character would. A good roleplayer will also keep the game world and the real world seperate. Talking about current events, sports, or any real life things can damper any roleplaying enviorment. These rules are not set in stone and everyone is different. If you want to roleplay and you are new at it just think of yourself as a acter on that new tv show, "guild war".
