I mainly come from RTS/FPS games, but I have played WoW.
One of the things you look for when you log on is the large 20v20 fights.
Besides the fact that Ive loved fps games with more than say 16 people playing (besides clan matches), guilds vs guilds is the first thing that comes to mind when I read the title 'guild wars'.
So can someone explain the situation in detail, as from what I understand its 8v8 (and maybe 1v1 too someday?).
Large scale pvp?

when i was going thru the tomb to reach hall of heros, i remember fighting more than two teams.
i think max team was like 6...each team with 8 players.
so it would be 8v8v8v8v8v8(no alliance)...which is more than 20 vs 20.
you will really like this.

Ahh, team vs team vs team.
Sounds pretty fun.

definetly, and that is one of the reasons I am buying GW. I also used to play those strictly fps games. I played Doom, Half Life, Unreal Tournament G.O.T.Y and Quake. I like rpg's, and I would have bought a non-online rpg over this, but this is free, no monthly cost.

I have to admit though, I really wish it would include aiming rather than just click to attack.
