I did a search but couldnt find a link to anything.

Can someone please tell me how the previous monthly weekend events usually ended...

I only got a chance to play the BWE and it was intence! The screenshots don't do this game justice!
Now I wish I heard bout GW sooner.

Well one of them had an evil Bone Dragon eat everyone I think. The march one had Gwen lighting people on fire.

For the final BWE we had big boxes of presents, exploding lawn gnomes, a rain of gold and experience, switch to nighttime and fireworks, and then giant worms ate everybody.

To bad they will not be able to do thing that drastic as Gwen killing all of us or giant wurms. This would really confude and Alienate alot of new players and I do not think A-Net wants to do that. But rest Asured those sneaky Devs will come up with something

I dout they will use only american hoidays because this gaem ie worldwide and they do not want to Piss off any players from other countries but that does not mean that can't make up in game hoidays and do something wild for them

uhh... these are the ones I can remember

Rotscale invaded Lions Arch. Then split into 2. Then 4. And so on, killing left and right.

Fire rained from the sky and incinerated everyone.

Gwen walked through the city, using spontaneous combustion on all around her and saying "thank you for playing Guild Wars" as well as several insulting comments.

Finally, this last weekend

Oink
Gnomes from gift boxes
Fireworks
Gold and exp raining from skye
infernal wurms

Thats so awesome...

If i was a dev i would be looking for every chance to do something fun.

I like how they were watching everything in real time.

the /bug reports went straight to them

i got mad cause i was playing with my refundable points without knowing there was a limit, untill it was too late.

i typed /bug and told them they should remove it. i dont know when they did it, but next time i checked i saw that they gave me all my points back.

You may have just earned more of them. You can only get 24 at a time, but you can earn then fairly quickly. I do agree that they should simply take them out of the game though.

BWE1: Rain of fire, and other assorted dev attacks.
BWE2: Rotscale invasion.
BWE3: Nothing special.
BWE4: Big people, little people.
BWE5: The Gwenpocalype.
BWE6: Oink invasion, rain of gold/XP, The Gift of Garden Gnomes, Fireworks, Infernal Worm Attack.

Also, if you were in Lion's Arch district 1 for 5 & 6, you got to be part of the Gailepede.

EDIT: Wow. I just realized. It's been six months since the WPE...

The first odd occurance in the final BWE ending was the arrival of Oink, everyone's favorite hog. Lots and lots of Oink. He was everywhere. There must have been an explosion at the cloning factory. When I saw oink, I squealed out loud. I thought they were going to attack us with the piggies of doom.

But no... no, suddenly I was encased in a Christmas Box and then the Gnomes of Ni!

Before I could run, I was dead.

I changed districts and then the XP started going up on its own!

Gold Rained from the skies! One at a time or up to 450 or more!

Then the sky grew dark and explosions of color exploded all around, I need to post a pic of the gold it was insanity at its best in the Sanitarium.

Then... then.... without warning... the worms... Oh god the worms.

The second time I saw the Gnomes I ran o.o; They were so ungodly cute...

But oh my god, I still like the Gwen one, this one just made me freak out because I thought oink was going to kill us all...

Anyoen got anymore details about the other BWE's? I missed them all but Gwen and the final one.

In the Gates of Kryta mission, last one before Lion's Arch. One of the peasants is looking for his pet warthog.

He was also in the old (before the introduction of Green Ascalon) tutorial mission.

Incidently, the old tutorial mission was actually a toned down version of the Gates of Kryta, and took place on the first half of that map. You got that far, but when you talked to the guy at the gate, he didn't tell you to go talk to Hablion, he just let you in to Lion's Arch.
